- After too much education and a long stint in corporate America...I have landed in my beloved hobby! I collected my first antique at the age of twelve! A 1863 Singer sewing machine, bought at the Chattanooga Flea Market for $12. After moving around the US for over twenty years, where I continued collecting and sold in several malls. I returned to Tennessee in 2006, simply by divine providence (I believe)when my spouse was offered a job in Nashville....a Petroleum Engineer....what's the chances of a job in TN in that field ? Probably three of these guys in the entire state!!! Thank you Lord! It's good to be back home!
